MONICA MANGE JOHNSON

Attorney & Consultant

 

Monica Johnson is a former federal prosecutor, entrepreneur and board advisor with more than 18 years of cumulative experience across the public service, law, health and wellness, and technology sectors. Monica started her career as a litigator working on complex, high-profile cases primarily in the corporate and white collar space later becoming an Assistant United States Attorney in the Central District of California where she prosecuted white collar crimes, led large trial teams and briefed complex appeals.

 

Monica has led product development, brand positioning, marketing,

strategic partnerships, celebrity development, fundraising and company operations. Monica currently sits on the advisory board of various start-ups and enjoys inspiring and advising others on how to proactively fund, develop, operate, build and grow innovative products and services.

 

Johnson is a member of the OVAL program, Stanford's alumni outreach program that assists the Admissions Office in conducting applicant interviews and outreach. Monica is also actively involved in her childrens’ schools including chairing and co-chairing the auction committee and serving as a class ambassador for the school’s largest fundraising initiative.  She holds both a BA and MA from Stanford University and a JD from Harvard Law School. Monica currently chairs the Advisory Council at the Independent School Alliance for Minority Affairs.
