Ali Rana is a senior product and business leader in Google Cloud’s Applied AI organization, where he helps build and bring to market a new generation of enterprise AI products. Previously, he spent nearly a decade at Snap, holding senior leadership roles across product, business development, partnerships, and marketing science. He helped build and scale several of Snap’s businesses and developed partnerships with companies around the world. Earlier, Ali spent 17 years at Millward Brown, now part of Kantar, advising leading global companies on technology, media, and consumer behavior.

Raised in Pakistan, Ali attended Oberlin College on a full scholarship. His appreciation for the opportunities that education afforded him informs his commitment to the Independent School Alliance.

Ali lives in Los Angeles with his wife and son. He believes school communities are stronger when they bring together students from different backgrounds and perspectives. On ISA’s Advisory Council, he brings his experience in strategy, partnerships, and business growth to help the organization engage new supporters and expand educational access for talented students from underrepresented communities.
