Peter is a co-founder of Massumi + Consoli LLP, a nationwide law firm focused on private equity and M&A transactions, with offices in LA, San Francisco, Dallas, and New York.  Before that, Peter was a partner in the private equity practice of Kirkland & Ellis LLP.

Peter serves on the Board of Trustees of All for Kids, an child abuse treatment and prevention organization, and is a regular supporter of organizations that promote access and opportunity. He has served as an adjunct professor of Corporate Finance at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and a guest lecturer in the M&A Transactions course at the UCLA School of Law.

Peter is a graduate of UCLA (B.S.) and Harvard Law School and lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
