Peter Massumi
Managing Partner, Massumi + Consoli
I am a proud father of three children – twins Arya and Lylah (4 years old) and baby boy Mateen (9 months old), and husband to Melika Massumi. I was raised in the San Fernando Valley – a mix of public and private schooling and went on to UCLA for undergrad and then Harvard Law School. I started my professional career practicing M&A at a large international law firm called Kirkland & Ellis, then branched out to start my law firm with a co-founder in March 2015. The firm, Massumi + Consoli LLP, focuses on private equity and M&A transactions. Our team has about 45 attorneys in LA, San Francisco, Dallas, and New York.
I serve on the Board of Trustees of the Children’s Bureau, an organization that endeavors to protect vulnerable children through prevention, treatment and advocacy. Our firm also supports various organizations that endeavor to provide educational and career opportunities to those who might not otherwise have access – such as SEO, Toigo Foundation and the Network for Teaching Entrepreneurship.
I have served as an adjunct professor of Corporate Finance at the University of Southern California Gould School of Law and a guest lecturer in the M&A Transactions course at the UCLA School of Law.
