As Chief Financial Officer, Muhammad “Mo” is responsible for company strategy & growth, financial planning & analysis, capital allocation & fundraising, treasury, tax, and accounting. Mo is also responsible for our people teams, including talent acquisition, total rewards, talent development, employee experience, people business partners, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Under Mo’s leadership, Relativity has raised approximately $1.2 billion and scaled up to be the second most valuable private space company in the industry.

He brings approximately 20 years of finance and capital markets experience with an extensive background in financial planning, operations, management, and strategy – as well as deep technical knowledge. Before joining Relativity, he served as Chief Financial Officer of The Honest Company, where he led nearly $500 million of financing rounds and scaled the business profitably. Prior, Mo was Vice President in the technology, media, and telecom investment banking division at Goldman, Sachs & Co., where he advised on over $30 billion in financing and M&A transactions and served as West Coast business unit manager, leading West Coast recruiting. Previously Mo had founded his own startup and held various positions at Accenture and Deutsche Bank.

Mo is involved in various nonprofits, serving on the National Board of Trustees for the March of Dimes and as Chair of the Board for Developments in Literacy, among others. He graduated cum laude with a BSc in Economics from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and holds an MBA from the UCLA Anderson School of Management.
